Evgeny was born on 05/04/2017 in the city of Nizhnevartovsk, where he lives to this day.
Until the end of May 2019, like all children, only ARVI was ill. At the end of May, small bruises began to appear on him, and by the end of June, bruises began to appear in large numbers, and numerous small subcutaneous bruises were added to them. Based on the results of a blood test on 06/28/2019, we were hospitalized.

According to the results of the study, our Eugene was registered at the National Research Center for the State Optics Institute named after V.I. Rogachev and started therapy according to the ALL MB 2015 protocol. BUT.

The first good news that we were in remission was reported to us in August 2019 and until July 2021 we continued to receive treatment according to the protocol, but at the end of July 2021 we noticed that Zhenya did not see objects in the distance. The last follow-up examination in October 2021 confirmed complete remission.

At the end of November, Eugene began to complain of pain in his right leg in the pelvic area, then he stopped bending his back “it hurts”, a temperature of 37.0 - 37.4 appeared; the feet are cold and wet, the right shoulder is lower than the left, he began to walk on his toes and “clubfoot” with his right foot.
With this question, we turned to the district pediatrician, orthopedist, rheumatologist and neurologist !! They took x-rays, ultrasound, looked at specialists of various profiles and the final conclusions - pain syndrome !!

Of course, we have a lot of questions:

• Why didn't the neurologist even suggest that all these are clear signs of a complication of our underlying disease, like neuroleukemia?
• Why didn't any of the specialists refer you to the treating oncologist?
• Why did the treating oncologist, in October 2021, when she confirmed the remission, did not see obvious signs of neuroleukemia?!

From 01.2022, problems with urination began. On January 10, 2022, Evgeny was hospitalized in the oncology department.

On January 11, 2022, the bone marrow was taken for examination, the results showed that one point is normal, the second point is an increased number of blast cells (9%)

An MRI performed in January revealed multiple formations in the spine and multiple foci of osteolytic destruction of the pelvic bones and proximal parts of the left femur.

On January 25, 2022, CSF was taken for a general analysis of which revealed 97% of blast cells.
At the moment, the family has decided to come to Israel for further treatment. Sheba Medical Center is ready to accept Evgeny for treatment and the KerenOr Leyaldeinu Charitable Foundation will provide assistance to Evgeny and his family. We really hope for your help in saving Zhenechka!
